I'd recommend you watch the scene of Stefan telling Caroline that he needed Damon more than he ever needed Elena. But you're welcome to take digs at Stelena. As for Steroline, Stefan killed himself on his wedding day because among other reasons, the happiness of Caroline's rapist comes before hers. Endgame or not, Damon's the man who stalked, manipulated, abused and sexually harassed Elena and who needed a sire bond to be picked. I'm not sorry that my ideal couples from TVD in S1 ended up being canon by TVD S8 lol.Īnd I am not sorry to point out that there's more to Stelena than stalking and manipulation and more to Delena than "Elena showing Stefan that Damon is worth loving". I am pretty sure we were presented with a scene of Stefan being ready to commit suicide and it was Elena and not Caroline who talked him out of it. Elena showed Stefan that he was worth loving and living for before Caroline did. The brothers mended their relationship multiple times during the years and that happened before Elena was even conceived. Your ships ending up as married couples is supposed to mean what exactly? That they weren't littered with manipulation, toxicity and abuse and that Stefan and Elena never loved each other? I don't get the point of this comment. I get the idea but I still wish both Stefan and Damon died together like Klaus and Elijah did in TO. Stefan gave his life so Damon could live his. Elena se vuelve drásticamente diferente como vampiro y deja a Stefan por su hermano. But in the end, Stefan loves Damon more than anyone, even himself. Durante el primer minuto de The Vampire Diaries Temporada 4, Elena descubre que tenía la sangre de Damon en su sistema cuando murió.Esta trama no solo fue refrescante, sino que fue vital para mostrar el amor incondicional de Damon por Elena. Caroline showed Stefan that Stefan himself is worth loving/living for. Elena showed Stefan that Damon is worth loving. Stefan started the show hating Damon and not understanding why/how anyone could love Damon. We see Stefan and Caroline form a trust, loyalty, and friendship which leads to romantic love eventually. We saw Stefan's stalker/manipulative behavior with Elena at the start of the show. We saw Stefan (with no humanity) being with Rebekah. We saw Stefan's infatuation/compelled feelings toward Katherine. We saw Stefan's first human attraction/first time having sex with Valerie. So TVD ending when Stefan dies makes complete sense. But if either brother had to die in TVD, Stefan dying makes the most sense, imo. Tbf I wish both Stefan and Damon died in the finale (like TO's finale).
